As a person who knows about depression: it IS treatable. I'd advise anyone seek treatment: and doesn't give up.

Yes, you are right depression is a severe problem to deal with. You have to be strong and take proper care. Taking proper treatment and asking for help is the best way to be out of this problem. Engage in self-care activities and fight with it like a warrior!

Depression is a mental health disorder, and the person having depression feels sad, empty and loss of interest once you enjoy many things. Now, we have come to the solution of overcoming depression. Depression comes when we think negatively for extended periods and lose interest in many things. We lose interest in those things once we enjoy them and don’t want to talk to anyone. These are symptoms of depression. You can deal with depression by practicing meditation in the morning. And believe me, and you will observe an effect on your mental health after several days.

The thing is with depression the person can lack motivation to alleviate it. It isn't "Oh I feel a bit down today.": it can be much more severe than that. Deep depression can require psychiatric treatment. And the sufferer may not co-operate. And when they are told to meditate and the whatnot, they won't: because they see no point. Depression is tricky to treat in that regard. The sufferer has to WANT to get better. But being so down, it is impossible to meditate or take pills. There is just no point. Thus, depression can lead to suicide, no matter what good advice they are given.
Also, people can confuse the person who has depression as not liking people or being stand-offish. Neither of which are true: depression isn't about what they think about other people. It is about what they are feeling. It is like shyness: they shy person won't look into others eyes out of fear, rather than being snobbish or cold and indifferent.

Depression is one of the disease that every average human being is facing on earth and almost 4% of population on the planet is affected by it. To stop going into such serious condtion we have to follow few steps such as :- 1) Healthy Diet 2) Meditation 3) Exercises 4) Socilizing these steps will definately help us out, correct mr if i'm wrong however we have to not only just follow this out on us but also help others out or create awareness over it, Thankyou!

Depression CAN be treated but it can take many years and be an uphill struggle.
Therapy does include diet/exercise/social interactions/medication but it takes time. It's like a plaster doesn't help a person whose leg has been amputated.
Therapy - however - DOES help but again it can take years. There has to be a level of wanting to get better. You can't just force someone with depression into therapy. They have to WANT to get better.
If it feels wrong I'd advise anyone see their doctor. But don't be fobbed off with a few pills: if you really want treatment you may have to pay privately. This is because mental health treatments cost the government money and they are very strict about where they spend their money.
If you've got money, I'd advise private mental health treatment.

You're not alone in feeling this way. Depression can be challenging to talk about, and it's hard for others to understand if they haven't been through it themselves entirely.
