Depression
I have suffered from depression for many years. I find it hard to talk to people about it, I have seen many Health Specialists over the years, but unless you have suffered yourself I don't think you're able to understand the way depression eats away at your brain. Does anyone else out there feel te same or have an opinion. Love to hear it!
Re: Depression
Hi, I have had depression for about five years now, since I had a car accident, and I know what you mean about finding it hard to talk to people about it.

Re: Depression
Do you try hypnotherapy to overcome depression? if not then try few sessions of it, you will surely see difference in you......one of my friend was in same condition as you are in. He tried hypnotherapy and now he is absolutely fine.

Re: Depression
Thank you for this valuable information.
I am so sorry to hear about your problem. I know that you are in the very worst situation. I have suffered from severe depression for 2 years, and I have gone through many disappointments. I had many visits to hospitals and waited for long hours in line. But through telehealth, I have the benefit to contact my doctor if I need any urgent help and care. Now I am taking consultation from my doctor through Ongo Care urgent care in California. My doctor is good and listens to my problem very carefully every time and prescribes medication accordingly. I think you can go with a telehealth doctor, where you can get better treatment from the comfort of your home.

Re: Depression
I have been prone to depression in the past and it affected my education. It also meant people saw me as cold and distant, when - in fact - it was depression. Put simply, people thought I didn't like them! But I had mental health issues and struggled. They didn't even know or understand that. I had to spend years at night school to catch up on what I lost.
Depression makes you lonely, it pushes lovely people away. BUT if you can stand up and say "I have depression" people will understand and won't turn away. You're not alone with your depression: you are in great company. My dad got depression himself when he was young. So perhaps it is genetic.
Anyhow, be open and honest and people WILL understand.
