my son has a swollen knee it's very soft & feels full of fluid,he said it's getting quite painful, any ideas of what to do?

Your son needs to see either his doctor or make an appointment with a physiotherapist. He will need a physical examination to ascertain the problem and how to treat it.

Some people with swollen knees ice it regularly - a simple bag of peas from the freezer wrapped in a tea towel may help.
