osteoporosis and Spinal Stenosis

I have had severe spinal osteoporosis for several years and already have endplate fractures at L1,2 and 3. Following an MRI in November I have now been told I have Spinal Stenosis as well. I do my physio exercises daily and although epidural anaesthetics have helped in the past the last one failed completely.
Due to circumstances, I have had to stop taking oxycontin completely and the gabapentin that my consultant replaced it with is totally ineffective. I already suffer from urge incontinence and I now find that if I walk for more than about 25 yards because of sciatica in both legs and the numbness I experience from the waist down, I lose control of my bladder completely.
Does anyone have suggestions to help with pain relief or with the loss of bladder control? Also anyone with experience of spinal fusion? Has it helped the pain from the stenosis and what if any are the drawbacks of such surgery?
Thanks
