Back pain symptoms can range in intensity from mild to severe. It is better to get in touch with a professional so that you are not derailing your health.

Re: Back Pain problem

Hi, I'm a newbie and you'll have to be patient with me if this isn't the correct forum LOL
I have had kypho scoliosis for number of years. A slight hump in the top of my back and a C shaped curve in my back. Its only the past 4 years or so that it has been giving me problems.
I get acupuncture on the NHS but can only have so many with it being free.....I must ask him about a private one. I take anti inflammatories, use heat, use a tens machine {sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't seem to do much}
I'm due to go in for a 2nd hip replacement on 24th of January and they think that this MIGHT help my back.
That's my story......sorry I can't be of more help

Re: Back Pain problem

I would suggest you not to believe of any suggestions just consult a doctor.

Re: Back Pain problem

Hi
Of course I would consult a doc. I know how useful these forums can be as a "top up" I'm a volunteer for Arthritis care and we have forums. Great to talk to others who have the same problems.
I've been to Orthopaedic Surgeon, Back specialist and Pain clinic if this puts the other posters mind at rest ;)
Well I've had my 2nd hip replacement. Went in of Friday and came out on Monday. After my blood pressure going in to my boots and me fainting twice I had 2 blood transfusions. Out now and trying to stick to all their rules about not bending and not twisting......sleeping on my back for 6 weeks etc
That is me up to date
Love
Hileena
