Re: Treatments for Back Pain

HI,
Great and well- written post. Nowadays, every second person has a back pain problem. I think proper rest and exercise are the best way to get relief from back pain.
Thanks!!

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

Try to stay as gently mobile as you can and try using ice on the affected area. You should go and see your doctor so they can examine you and advise you on an appropriate course of action.

Re: Treatments for Pain

There are many treatment options available but that depends on which type of pain you have. The most common option are medications, therapies. If you are facing chronic pain then you go for medications and acupuncture which can help to get relief from chronic pain. In addition to that you can treat pain naturally by changing lifestyle or by means of counseling.

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

For acute back pain, over-the-counter pain relievers and the use of heat might be all you need. Bed rest isn't recommended.
Continue your activities as much as you can tolerate. Try light activity, such as walking and activities of daily living. Stop activity that increases pain, but don't avoid activity out of fear of pain. You can follow ayurvedic treatment and medicine for a better result.

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

I suggest to undergo some therapies such as acupuncture, Physiotherapy and Biomagnetism therapy and these things helped me a lot.

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

Depending on the type of back pain you have, your doctor might recommend the following:
  • 1. Over-the-counter (OTC) pain relievers.
    2. Muscle relaxants.
    3. Topical pain relievers. These are creams, salves or ointments you rub into your skin at the site of your pain.
    4. Narcotics. Drugs containing opioids, such as oxycodone or hydrocodone
    5. Antidepressants.
    6. Injections.
