Also, other alternative means to reduce pain include acupuncture, light yoga exercises and Tai Chi. Low impact aerobic exercises, such as swimming, bicycling, and walking can strengthen muscles in the abdomen and back. Exercise regimes, such as lumbar extension strength training can prove to be quite effective.

Hi,

I read all these treatments of back pain and yes there are many others treatments for back pain like

1) Manual therapy : manual therapy including mobilisation, manipulation and massage, usually carried out by osteopaths, physiotherapists or chiropractors.

2) Alexander technique: The aim of this is to make you aware of any bad postural habits you have while sitting or standing.

3) Acupuncture : An ancient Chinese treatment where fine needles are inserted at different points in the body and its reduced your back pain.

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

Always see a doctor who are expert enough in relieving the kind of pain you're feeling. Of course, be strong enough to undergo test and check up to know if what causes the pain. As early as possible, visit your doctor to avoid getting worst of the situation. I have a friend of mine as well who tried a magnetic therapy and it works on him. There is what we called magnetic bracelet too which you can wear anytime and it's been said that this products helps the normal flow of blood in the body and a pain solution for aching wrist, arms, elbows and other joint pain.

Re: Treatments for Back Pain

There are many alternative treatments for back pain before you decide to go see a specialist. You can start by exercising, getting enough rest, maintain good posture, eat healthy and balanced foods and quit smoking habits. You may also try a massage to treat your back pain, and any other pain that you are experiencing.
