Hi I'm Don and I suffer from a sore butt. When I have a sitz bath with Epson salts it actually inflames the area. I've had two operations for abscesses 20 years ago. and suffered hemorrhoids off and on. I'm a heavy equipment operator which doesn't help. I have a bidet which is great. My question is does anyone have any idea of something I could soak in to help. Epson salts don't seem to work

umm not only can you be developing butt muscles but you might have ran or done excessive exercise with it in the past few days. try and think about what you've done the past few days. massaging it will hurt but if you keep doing it the long term effects of the massaging should be apparent and it should start to feel better.
