Ignored question
I have yet to receive a response from a specialist to my question ab(normal) levels. I am being ignored it would seem. This is nothing new. I have spent seven years being ignored, until taken to A&E with a heart rate of 150 when some tests are run and then sent on my way with advice to see my GP. My GP does not know enough about treating thyroid disease which is why she referred me to an endocrinologist. I am not getting better, i am getting worse. Why am I still being ignored on here please?
I have grown a thick skin but even I am starting to take it personally.

Re: Ignored question
Please be assured no one is being ignored.
Just to reiterate all our experts are giving their time freely and coming into the forum in their spare time. The number of questions asked has been overwhelming and the experts are doing their very best to plough through as many questions as possible.

Re: Ignored question
I'm sorry but I have to take issue with your assertion that no one is being ignored. Questions posted both before and after mine have been answered and a poster called, appropriately enough IGNORED, has also been left hanging around.
Time given freely is a good thing, no one would dispute this. I am being ignored, this is on the back of being brushed off in real life too. If the specialist don't have the answer to my question, or simply say see your GP, then that is fine. Not brilliant, but acceptable. I will then know not to waste any more time here. But to ignore desperate, ill people when the carrot of help was dangled is cruel.

Re: Ignored question
I have not had any of my questions answered either. Why set this up? You are inviting us to ask questions and now telling us that the experts are really kind offering their time with the possibility that they may be able to answer some.
It really is just a wind up to be frank, if you only knew how many people there are who are being ignored by doctors and endocrinologists, you would understand how it is just like rubbing salt into the wounds that questions are not being answered.

Don't take it personally folks. My question has been ignored too and when I reposted it was deleted!
