sleep issues
Could one of the Drs explain to me why with Hypothyroidism I have terrible problems falling asleep .
I am on 125 /100 alternate days Thyroxine and my last TSH was 1.8 . I take my meds first thing
on waking and wait at least an hour before eating or drinking ,

It is unlikely that the difficulties you have sleeping are related to the diagnosis of hypothyroidism, which appears to be treated adequately. Sleeping problems are common unfortunately. Try simple things like avoiding tea, coffee, excess alcohol, exercise late in the evening and napping during the day. Remove telephones, mobiles and other sources of distraction from your bedroom and follow a routine. These sometimes help. Your doctor should eb able to advise you further.
