Could untreated/under medicated thyroid disease during pregnancy result in the baby being born with learning disabilities ie dyslexia, autism.

yes there is evidence that untreated hypothyroidism or inadequately treated disease could cause learning difficulties. There is no direct link with dyslexia and autism but there is one study showing a link with ADHD.

Thank-you for your prompt reply I'm confused by your response though because dyslexia is a learning difficulty. What evidence is there please?
