Advice please whilst awaiting consultant
Hi
Have had these itchy hot red weals since Oct and GPS offered various treatments and diagnosis . I have autoimmune thyroid condition they think maybe autoimmune too. Started on torso and buttocks. Just got worse and worse now very sore red etc and covering all my back, thighs buttocks and now my face. Also some on feet. Have tried prescribed coal tar, QV lotion, benovate, 1%hydrocortisone and several antihistamines max dose via prescription. Does anyone know what this is and what I can try. Cut out any perfumed products, use non bio, wear cotton etc. Desperately needing advice as wait here for consultant dermatology is long... See attached pic of my upper back

Hi Daphne65,
Sounds like a very frustrating problem you are dealing with. Unfortunately we are unable to offer you medical advice on the forums but you may want to take a look at this blog which sounds similar to what you are going through;
http://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/bl ... of-before/
You might also want to have a look at the upcoming clinic on skin here and maybe put your question to the experts here?: http://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/on ... kin_20.php
Hope this helps, but let us know how you get on with the dermatologist appointment.
Regards,
talkhealth
