Many thanks for posting your question - apologies for the delay in responding. I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering such an unpleasant symptom for so long.

Naseptin is indeed used to eliminate nasal infection but it is common for this bacteria to return after treatment. The recommended dose is to apply 4 times daily for 10 days, is this how you have been applying it?

It is possible that this was triggered by the prolonged use of a corticosteroid nasal spray. There are other nasal antibiotics which may be used so I would suggest making an appointment to discuss treatment options with your GP. It may be that your GP would like to refer your to a more specialised Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) clinic which may be of benefit.
