Adrenal Fatigue
Im interested to know if patients suffering from food allergies are often suffering from hypoadrenia. In your experience do you find there to be a common correlation? bewteen allergies and hypoadrenia?

Re: Adrenal Fatigue
Now I understand your other post regarding tests.
I am not aware of any such correlation. The classic symptoms of food allergy show little overlap with those of hypoadrenalism. When I have seen hypoadrenalism in the allergy clinic it has always been directly attibutable to the use of high dose corticosteroids by the patient for another reason (e.g. severe asthma or eczema).

Re: Adrenal Fatigue
my apologies,
I find it interesting that as our soils become more depleated of nutrients and filled with chemicals (and so our food) that we seem to becoming increasingly sick and allergic to our foods. It is good practise to eat and organic diet while undergoing allergy testing?
On a slightly off topic point it would intersting to know who funds the allergy testing research. Is there independant studies, if so could you advise or are the studies funded soley by the likes of gsk etc.

hi
allergy research, like al medical research, has a variety of sponsors - governmnet funding eg MRC, charities or industry but regardless the funding source has to very clear and upfront and industry funding research is subject to extreemely rigorous monitoring.
