Bleeding after sex and spotting

I am 47 and have had bleeding after sex and spotting between periods for about 18+ months. Twelve months ago I had a polyp removed, a hysteroscopy and a biopsy taken of my endimetrial lining. Everything was clear. I also had a clear cervical smear about the same time.
My symptoms have not, however, stopped. I do not have any other symptoms. I had a Mirena coil fitted at the time of the investigations referred to above, and the symptoms have been the same both before and after this.

Given the investigations I have had, do I need any other tests etc?

Many thanks

Re: Bleeding after sex and spotting

Yes I would repeat the scan and perhaps hysteroscopy. If you are unhappy with the Mirena, I would consider removal too.
