i,ve been having this flaking (dandruff like), itchy problem on the skin of my vagina.. i,ve tried using anti itch, anti fungal creams.. still not working.. what could it be? the itch has been driving my crazy.. not to mention the flaking.. help!

Hi,
In the first instance i would suggest that you avoid all showergels, soaps, bubble baths and wipes that are specific to that area.

When drying, pat the area dry , or use a hair dryer set on a cool setting as this may prevent the urge to rub and/or scratch the area
Avoid tight fitting clothing.

I suggest that you make an appointment with your GP who may examine you and recommend a soap subsitute and emollient for the dryness and itch. Your GP may also refer you to a dermatologist
