swollen, itchy and sore but no discharge.

Help I have just started taking the microgynon 30 contraceptive pill..i've taken a whole pack my last tablet was 2 days ago..since taking that last tablet my vagina has become swollen, itchy and so sore that it burns. there is no yeast like discharge and its more painful than thrush.. in fact the only discharge i have is clear like water. i've been tested for chlamydia and i don't have it..I just want to know if this is a link to the pill and if its my body's way of telling me that pill isn't right for me!!

It would be an unusual reaction but with hormones, anything's possible! Presume thet you are now on your pill-free week. If so, see what happens over the next few days. If it settles down and you decide not to restart the pill, then obviously you will need some other form of contraception.
