Sneezing in the morning
My 5 year old daughter sneezes for about an hour after waking - extremely productive sneezes. She also sometimes coughs at night. This has been the case for about a year, all seasons.
I've taken her to the Doctor a number of times and they have given her asthma treatment. Inhalers do help the cough, but don't have much impact on the sneezing.
I'm confused, because anything I read about asthma doesn't state sneezing as a symptom.
Does she really have asthma, or is it an allergy?

Re: Sneezing in the morning
sneezing is typically a symptom of nasal allergy or rhinitis rather than asthma and lots of sneezing in the morning may suggest dist mite allergy as everybody's mattress is full of dust mite. Try simple antihistamines eg cetirizine taken before bedtime or ask your GP to do an allergy test.
