A prostate biopsy is the expulsion of little examples of prostate tissue to look at it for indications of prostate disease. The prostate is a little, pecan measured organ simply under the bladder in men. It folds over the urethra, the cylinder that completes pee of the body. The prostate makes semen, the liquid that conveys sperm.

A prostate biopsy is a procedure where tissue samples are taken from the prostate gland to check for prostate cancer. It's typically performed when results from screening tests like a PSA blood test or a digital rectal exam (DRE) suggest a possible diagnosis of prostate cancer.
