Is testicular pain serious?

I feel pain in my left testicle for the last 4 days and the pain will be severer when I'm playing basketball. I'm worried about it so much and afraid of losing it. Should I take some pain killers from the drugstore or should I go to a doctor immediately?

Of course you should get it checked as soon as you can. It sounds like epididymitis. I had epididymitis 3 months ago so I know what it feels like. My condition was cured fully after using a herbal medicine for 2 months. This inflammation will develop chronic if no effective treatment is taken. Hope you well soon!
