Dark blotchy skin around pubic area (picture included)
Hey, I've been aware of this for a few years now but am not entirely sure when I first noticed it (I have a terrible memory). I basically have patches on the public area which are of a slightly darker but noticeable colour to the rest of my skin, are there any ideas on what this might be? I normally let my pubic hair grow a certain length in an effort to make the patches less noticeable.
I've don't have any symptoms other than what you can see, but have also noticed that my skin is drier where the skin is darker.
If you need any questions to help with a diagnosis please feel free to shoot.

Hi,
sorry to hear you are concerned about the colour of your skin in your pubic area. Unfortunately talkhealth are unable to offer any specific medical opinions or advice to you regarding this matter. We would always recommend that you speak with your GP about something of this nature if it still is worrying you though.
Other members may be able to relate to what you have described and may yet offer some advice or comment on your post, so do keep checking back.
Also, not sure if you know about our upcoming 'ask the expert' clinic in march next year where it may be worth re-posting your question if you have had no answers by then or are still worried? Have a look here; https://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/f ... php?f=1123
Do let us know how you get on,
