Slit under the foreskin of the penis
I have a small slit under the foreskin of my penis which can appear as a small bump through the foreskin.
I have had it for some time and although it generally doesn’t cause any problems, it can sometimes cause some mild irritation and it somewhat of a cosmetic issue. I am worried that it could pose a risk of infection as it has not closed up and there is an an open hole with a small pocket inside. Would it be best to consult my GP in this case, any advice?

Hi craig james,
Sorry that you are having this health concern it is obviously worrying for you. As we are unable to give out specific medical advice we feel that you should discuss the matter further with your GP or if you prefer, attend a walk in Sexual Health Clinic. You can look up your local clinic easily online, but usually will find them in most large general hospitals.
Hope that you get some answers but let us know how you get on,
Regards,
