Testing Question

Hi,

I am very worried and hope that getting an answer here will help my worries.

I had a "low risk" exposure a while ago. I had a full screening after 31 days and was told that this conclusive. I had a duo test so this covers HIV and was told that the urine test covered infections that have a window period of 14 days. I seem to get mixed info when looking at syphilis online it says between 2 weeks and 90 days so do I need to retest? the nurse seemed sure 31 days was conclusive/
Thanks for your reply in advance.

Re: Testing Question

Hi Lincolnguy88,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

Unfortunately we are unable to give out specific medical advice but would suggest you go and see your GP for clarification and to alleviate your worry.

We do currently have an 'ask the expert' clinic today with experts from The Urology Foundation answering men's sexual health questions. If you feel that they could help you, then you can re-post your question to the link below where they will be able to give you advice:
