hsv 1+2 results

I took an std test a while back for all the usual possible infections. my results for herpes hsv came back as 1.39, which my doctor described as weakly positive. she said to take another test to see what changes and get more accurate results. i have been scared to go back and get my results. is 1.39 a high level? could it have possibly been high for other reasons?
