Prostatitis and urethral stricture

Hi all, 32yo male here. I have had a few cases of what was diagnosed as prostatitis in past 5 years. Symptoms were pain in testicles/perineum mostly and also urinary issues of dribbling, low flow and feeling like my bladder never empties out. They recently had me do a camera in the urethra and told me I have a mild to moderate stricture. The uro doc recommended dilating it but that sounds awful, would rather just live with the dribbling and pee issues. Wanted to see if anyone had experience with this, is dilation worth a try?

Re: Prostatitis and urethral stricture

Thank you for posting in the forum and sorry you've not had any replied from men who have dilation. Did you decide to try this treatment?

Not sure if there's anything in our recent Online Clinic on Prostate & Testicular health that might be of help - you can take a look via this link - https://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/f ... .php?f=975

Re: Prostatitis and urethral stricture

Hi,

Are you better now? I heard from a friend that he had prostatitis and tried a natural diuretic and anti-inflammatory medicine therapy, which was very effective. But it's a little serious according to your symptoms. Urethral stricture is usually treated by operation. You can consult with other doctors.
