Adult Circumcision.

I am 56 and struggle with some skin irritations under my foreskin from time to time. My doc prescribed a cream that was effective. I discussed getting circumcised with my doctor and it was agreed that I do have an excess of skin associated with my foreskin. He suggested a “low and loose” style of circumcission. I am seeking opinions on the pros and cons of the different styles. I had thought I would have preferred a “high and tight” style. Thoughts?

Re: Adult Circumcision.

Hi mikeBFla,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the talkhealth forums.

It's worth discussing the pros and cons further with your GP as they will be able to best advise you on the proper course of action. If you have a particular preference as you have suggested, it is worth mentioning this to your GP and talking through the different options available to you.

Do let us know how you get on.

Thanks,
