How to avoid prostate enlargement

Is it Possible to Prevent BPH?

BPH causes a larger-than-normal prostate in men. By the time they reach their 80s, 9 out of 10 men will have it. Even with such odds, you might wonder if there is anything I can do to prevent it.

No, is the quick response. The prostate gland will continue to expand in most men, which may result in benign prostatic hyperplasia, as it is formally known.

However, knowing when to visit your doctor, what makes you more likely to acquire it, and how to manage the symptoms is still beneficial.

When Do I Need to See a Doctor?

This gland, which is located directly below the bladder, is known for its rapid growth. Problems with peeing, on the other hand, aren't. Even if you don't believe it's a huge concern, it's worth getting checked out if you're experiencing any of the following BPH symptoms:

When you've finished peeing, start dribbling
Starting the stream can be difficult.
Having to pee frequently (eight or more times per day)
Having to get up multiple times during the night to pee
If you have a weak urine stream or if you pee in the toilet, it will come and go.
Some issues with urine flow are more problematic than others.
If you experience any of the following symptoms, see your doctor or go to the emergency
unable to pee at all.
You're having a lot of pain or discomfort in your lower abdominal.
