Help developing an exercise programme

Hi everyone, first time poster, apologies if this has been covered before.

I'm 41 and have the love handles/spare tyre/middle-aged spread. I'd like to lose about a stone for a kick off and see where we are after that (I'm 5ft 10ins and currently weigh 13st 7lbs).

I regularly do my 10,000 steps a day when in the office on three days a week and on the same days I eat fairly healthily for lunch with a Tesco salad or something. I don't eat breakfast and my partner is a healthy eater so I'm often doing quite well for dinner/tea too. I have issues with chocolate and crisps though - don't we all?

Can someone please point me in the direction of a decent YouTube video for resistance band exercises for beginners? The ones I bought last summer have gathered dust since they arrived from Amazon so it's about time they got a run out.

Any other suggestions welcome too, cheers.
