How to treat glaucoma?

Glaucoma is the serious eye diseases which can be cause of blindness if we will not treat this, it can be treat by using eye drops which help to reduce glaucoma, eye infection and stop fluid coming from eyes. In diet we need to eat more vitamin c foods which also will help to protect this and also other eye diseases. In starting we need to wear eye contact lens which will help to see other object clear and wash eyes 3 or 4 times in day with cold water. Doctor also prefer to patient for glaucoma surgery treatment which is costly but it can be treat with naturally so we need to go for this first, if it will not treat with naturally then we need to go for surgery option.

Re: How to treat glaucoma?

Eye drops used in managing glaucoma decrease eye pressure by helping the eye’s fluid to drain better and/or decreasing the amount of fluid made by the eye. Drugs to treat glaucoma are classified by their active ingredient. These include: prostaglandin analogs, beta blockers, alpha agonists, and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Combination drugs are available for patients who require more than one type of medication. Choose a category above to learn more.

Re: How to treat glaucoma?

Glaucoma can be treated with eye drops, laser surgery, pills or traditional surgery. It can be managed if detected early, and most people with glaucoma will not lose their sight.

Re: How to treat glaucoma?

Treatment of glaucoma will depend mainly on its type. There is no definite cure for glaucoma. Medications are used to decrease intraocular pressure and these medications should be used for ever.

Some types such as phacomorphic glaucoma can be curable with cataract extraction. Angle closure glaucoma can be curable with laser iridotomy only but sometimes medications are required.

Re: How to treat glaucoma?

You can treat glaucoma with various forms such as laser therapy, surgeries and eye drops (bimatoprost Ophthalmic Solutions). Suffering from glucoma can be sometimes a important point of concern as it makes a pressure or stress on the optic nerve of your eye which could be a progressive range of vision loss if not treated. You can check the eye drop for treating glaucoma on our profile page but should always consult a doctor for better analysis of your glaucoma stage and its treatments.

Glaucoma will be treated by a hospital urgently.

Your doctor will refer you immediately to a hospital for treatment.
