hard white bump on nose

Hi,
About five months ago I noticed the there was a shiny swollen look to the tip of my nose.Since then a white firm, bump has started to grow there.It is getting bigger and is about a cm in size at present.I am not into sunbathing and always wear factor 15 mosturiser on my face.Should i be worried about this?.I'm in my early thirties and am very fair skinned.Thanks,Jenny
