Light patches on legs

Hi,
I've noticed these lighter patches on my legs after being out in the sun. At one point they were really irritated but then it stopped.I have also noticed that the patches are never in the same place, they've been showing up in different places all over my thighs and are all gathered around the same area. They look like dry patches but don't feel any different to the rest of my skin and no difference is made after I cream them. I have no idea what this can be, I don't know whether its nothing or something I should be concerned about. Any ideas on what it could be?
