Ideal BMI for conception

Hi, I will soon be undergoing IVF treatment (after an operation which highlighted that I have a high risk of eptopic pregnancy) and was interested to know if there was an ideal BMI to increase pregnancy chances?

Re: Ideal BMI for conception

Good luck with your treatment. There is no ideal BMI for treatment, but we would recommend that a BMI more than 19 and 30 or less is preferable to optimise treatment outcome

Re: Ideal BMI for conception

Out of interest, what were the op findings?
Ectopic pregnancy is still possible with IVF, if the op showed bilateral tubal damage perhaps they tubes should be removed or clipped off to improve success rates.....
