Flare ups

Does anyone have any natural recommendations/remedies for a six month old baby with severe eczema. He was prescribed steroid creams and even an antihistamine, but that still only does so much for him. He gets really bad random flare ups, It's been going on since he was two months old. We've seen two pediatricians already, an allergist, and also a dermatologist. They've all been pretty much telling us the same thing. I know he is allergic to eggs and peanuts, so I've been avoiding those out of my diet. So there could be something else triggering it. I do not know how else I can soothe my poor baby's skin. If anyone has any ideas, I am open to them.

Hello, Sorry to hear about that! There are members in our community who will be able to offer some practical advice and tips.

You could also take a look at our recent online clinic on skin conditions as there could be some useful information that might help - http://bit.ly/2ceQXv1

Wish you all the best - and Merry Christmas! :)

Re: Flare ups

Hi!

Was there allergy test conducted to confirm the allergy? Or deduced based on common allergens and your history?

Maybe can consider an allergy test.

Hope things improve,

Re: Flare ups

My son has had eczema flaring up on and off again on his legs so we bought foderma eczema serum to see if it would help. And it has definitely made a difference and there is minimal amount now and that's with us not even being consistent on applying it. Love that it doesn't have a scent. Goes on smooth and isnt greasy.
