Possible Pityriasis Lichenoides Chronica?

Good Afternoon All,

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so thought i'd post it in the Eczema forum to see if anyone has seen or experienced this before.....

My son is 6 years old, and suffers from these spots, but nobody can confirm the condition is actually PLC.......

We've been to multiple dermatologists (Private and NHS) and we seem to be going from one to the other, just being passed around - one said that it could possibly be PLC....and the others now seem to follow suit as they aren't sure what it is.

We've now been referred to a childrens "specialist" and are awaiting an appointment.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has suffered from this.

My little one has tried all sorts of creams, steroid creams etc, antibiotics, but nothing seems to help it.

Thanks

poiuy

Re: Possible Pityriasis Lichenoides Chronica?

I've suffered from pityriasis lichenoides chronica for years and the only thing I found to actually work is O'Keeffe's Skin Repair Lotion. Apply it once or twice a day. Especially after a bath. I've been doing that for a month and this will be the first summer in many many years that I will actually be able to wear shorts and not be embarrassed.
