Chicken Pox and Severe Eczema!

Hi

My 6 year old daughter has had severe eczema all her life, she has now developed chicken pox. I was advised not to use steroid creams whilst she has chicken pox? The problem is her eczema is really flaring! She also has molluscum! Any advice would really be appreciated.

I had the same problem when Alice's eczema was bad and she had chicken pox. We just wet wrapped her and used lots and lots of cool (from the fridge) moisturiser. She did pick some and has some scars - it was a horrible time. I do sympathise with you.
