Merino wool ok?

I have a 21 month old son who has just been diagnosed with eczema. He wears cloth nappies and at night wears merino wool knitted trousers over his nappies. Is he still ok to wear these? I've heard that merino is good for eczema sufferers but I've also read that no wool to be worn at all. I'm a knitter and get eczema on my hands but wool doesn't irritate it.

Hi!

Sleeptime is difficult with scratching :( Is your son scratching at night with the merino wool? If not, then likely no issue. Or you can change to cotton, and something warmer over and see if there's noticeable difference in his skin?

Sleep tight, merry x'mas!

Re: Merino wool ok?

My last information is also that Merino Wool is good for Allergies or Eczema

Even the often diagnosed Wool Allergies of the past are a myth as they are very rare

and even than it is a Allergy against Lanolin
