My 9 yo granddaughter has some eczema and very dry skin. I recently visited and saw the backs of her legs had lots of bumps and bumps with whitish pimples on top. I thought it might be molluscum and asked her Mom about it. She said the doctor said that it was part of the eczema and using moisturizer should clear it up. I don't think the moisturizer has helped and I think the doctor is wrong. I looked online to try and find pictures of this type of eczema and did not find any. Is anyone familiar with this? thanks for your input.

Hi, are the spots waxy looking or fluid filled and very itchy or like a teenage face spot that has puss in it? Anna

It was a few weeks ago that I got a look and that was only once. But I think they were waxy looking and she did say that it was itchy.

If they are terribly itchy consider Pompholyx, molluscum contagiosum sounds possible
