I have recurring outbreaks of spots on my scalp, neck and shoulders. But nowhere else. They are very difficult to get rid of. They don't look like any of the common skin diseases pictured on the NHS site. Any ideas?

Could you tell me a bit more about the spots Have they got yellow heads? are they red? do they itch? How long have they been there? Do you have eczema? and how old are you?
There are lots of reasons for spots in the scalp. You can get a form of eczema which presents itself as spots and you can also have a type of acne which can sometimes also affect the scalp. Are the spots there all the time or do they come and go?

Sorry I would need some more information.
