Anti anxiety medication for eczema?

I just wondered if people have had any luck using anti-anxiety medication to reduce eczema? I know mine is worsened by stress and I do have quite high levels of anxiety so just wondered if this was an avenue worth exploring with my gp

Hi, I take hydroxyzine also known as atarax, but this is also known to be used for anxiety. I was prescribed it to take at night time, which does make me relax and I sleep really well! Maybe something to ask your GP about, would not recommend in the day time as I would be asleep!!
