My eczema won’t get better
I’m 18 years old I’ve had eczema for basically my whole life. This year my eczema has gotten really bad I used to use steroid cream but they have thinned out and discoloured my skin so I stopped using them. I’ve also tried organic creams, I’ve used this cream that supposed to be a steroid cream replacement that is made with plants and a bunch of other moisturizers but nothing has seemed to work. Also I’ve went to the naturopathic doctor and I’ve been on a diet eliminating food that cause inflammation, and I’ve been on that diet for almost 2 months now and I’ve not seen any result. It really sucks have eczema I feel self conscious all the time and embarrassed every time I go to school worrying about how bad it is if anybody can please help me or give me any reasons why my eczema isn’t going I would appreciate it a lot
Thanks
Thanks

Hi! Maybe if you haven't taken a patch test in a while, you can give it a try? Also there are prescription creams that are non-steroid like Protopic.. eczema may worsen during teen years, can see if this interview series helps, take care! http://eczemablues.com/2012/09/teen-ecz ... m-puberty/

Re: My eczema won’t get better
I just recently tried SebaMed products, shea butter, and tea tree oil. All work with me. Not totally free of eczema yet but at least it doesn't flare up lately.

I suffer from eczema, too. However, I discovered that taking vitamin A improved my skin immeasurably. Whenever I stop taking it, the eczema returns. I would suggest taking vitamin A at least 5 days a week which is what I do.
