Re: METHOTREXATE

What bottle is that? In Singapore, we don't take any hot water to bed... and marcie has never drank hot water, but ate many ice cubes! lol Send me a pic, I'm very interested!

Thanks for the link for the pic! We do have similar ones, but in thinner transparent plastic meant for normal temp water! :)

Re: METHOTREXATE

My son was also breastfed as a baby and has eczema, asthma and allergies. I am sure people mean well when they insist that the natural treatment will work and it is the best route. What these people neglect to think about is that decisions to use medication like methotrexate, azathioprine and ciclosporin does not come easy. There is also the fact that what works for one person does not work for another. It would be great if eczema could always be treated naturally but this just is not the case. The other thing is that some of the all natural creams and tablets have actually been found to contain strong steroids. People really should not push their own views onto other people and certainly should not try and make people feel guilty for taking a diferent approach.

Re: METHOTREXATE

Hi Kelly, sorry for not being in touch life is in over load since the summer. At the end of august Abigail choked, at her dad's, on a bacon sandwich. It lead to a massive fear of eating, in September she ended up in hospital for a week after becoming dangerously hypoglycemic. She had loads of investigations including cameras under general anaesthetic all which came back clear of any blockages. She is now under a phycologist and dietician to try and get her eating. It is a very hard long slow process. She is living on next to nothing, it is terrible. Then a couple of weeks ago Daniel was diagnosed with alopecia! I'm still not sure it has sunk in yet for me. It is mild at this point but there is no prediction what it will do. On top of the eczema we are just about getting by. How is James getting on? Anna xx
