How to help eczema with aloe vera.

Hi there. I am jack. And I am 12 years old. I have suffered with eczema ever since I was born. I would get it mild on my arms and backs and my nee. Nothing to bad. But 3 years ago my mum and dad got divorced. As soon as it started my eczema went from my arms and legs to my face. It was horrible. I have big red patches on my face. They were dry and itchy. I have tried steroids, chinese remedies, vaseline, natural creams with honey, Japanese tea. But nothing worked. It was SOOO embarrassing. BUT. 2 days ago my face was SOOO red I said to myself I have to do something about this.
So... I went to holland and Barrett and bought some aloe vera things. In 2 days my eczema is almost hidden. Here's how I did it. (By the way it's made by dr natural)
1 in the morning I wash my hair with aloe vera shampoo and wash with aloe vera body wash.
2 after I am dress and dry I put aloe vera skin lotion all over my face. (It stings for about 15 minutes)
3 because my arm pits are very sensitive I use aloe vera deodorant.
4 then before bed I wash my face with warm water and aloe vera body wash. Dry then apply more aloe vera skin lotion.
That's all I do. No juice. No gel just that! I'm not sure if this works for everyone but if YOU have red patches or blotches please try this and tell me if it worked for you!

Hi, Aloe Vera is really good for getting healthy skin, and it has been used for hundreds of years by women who want nice skin.

Yes it can help eczema, and you should try an Aloe Vera cream. The best way to apply it would be to have a warm bath, so that the pores of your skin are open, you then apply the cream. This allows the cream to sink deeper into your skin, which brings better results.

Too be honest there are plenty of natural methods which can help reduce the symptoms of eczema. Not everyone will work for you, as it people differ, but I'm sure that there is something that will give you good results.

Re: How to help eczema with aloe vera.

I'm 53 and live in Arizona. I never had eczema until 3 years ago when I moved to AZ.
Year 1# blamed it on mosquito repellant
Year 2# blamed it on chlorine pool
THIS YEAR was the worst. over 6 weeks and putting lidocaine spray burned, putting SPF100 spray on burned. Putting aloe vera gel on burned.

for the past 3 days I've been putting Vitamen E oil and taking Vitamen E & B-3 (niacin) pills.
Improvement!

But I'm not sure if it the Vit E & B-3 or because it just happen to RAIN for the first time in 10 months. But I sure do feel a bit better.

I just ordered a $210 portable water softener from watersticks and I've been reading about the SWET trial and how water softening doesn't do a thing for eczema. Did I just waste my money? :(

Hi there!

Good to hear that your eczema improved.. yeah, the water softener results (which was no impact on eczema) came as a surprise for many as patients reported improvement but when measured under trial, no impact. Since you already bought it, use it? :)

Hope your eczema improves!

Re: How to help eczema with aloe vera.

Aloe Vera is the best natural product for both hair and skin. It helps in reducing the acne and acne scars, works as an anti aging face mask, helps grow thick hair when applied to the hair.
Even less scientific effort has been spent understanding the healing mechanisms driven by this complex substance. However, this is some good clinical evidence that Aloe Vera gel can be effective in treating the symptoms commonly associated with eczema :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:
