Contact eczema, help needed!

Dear Community,

I need your help to find out what is happening to me.

Since 6 months, I have been having these rashes, which seem to be caused by contact/pressure as they appear during sleep and the symptoms are worst in the morning.
I have been to 4 different specialists and all they can do is alleviate the symptoms by giving me some expensive injections every 4 weeks.
They usually work, but the last injection's effect is yet to be felt and that was 6 days ago.
The Itching is killing me and sometimes I end up with wounds from scratching. :x

I have tried to wash my clothes without detergent to rule it out.
I have excluded the possibility that it comes from my diet but I am not sure if it can be caused by some nutrient deficiency.
I am using some medications for many years and my initial suspicion was them causing that, however, the doctors do not support the theory.
Still, it flares up during the night, when there are many contact points and fades slowly during the day.

Please, please, please, take a look at the photos and if you recognize it, please let me know if you have any idea's as to what is causing this condition!!

Thank you in advance
Jeli

Re: Contact eczema, help needed!

Hi jeli1958,,

Thank you for posting on the forum. Hopefully other members may be able to help you, but have you considered it could be hives from a histamine reaction from either an environmental or food trigger?

Alternatively you may want to contact one of our charity supporters Action against allergy and they may be able to help you:

It is a little way into the future, but from 7 - 21 September 2020 talkhealth will team up with Action Against Allergy, British Skin Foundation and Eczema Outreach Support to present an Online Clinic on Skin Conditions. You will be able to post your question there:
