Seborrheic eczema and hair dyes

Hi I'm new to the forum and have had se for about 9 months along the back of my neck, behind my ears, a little across the top of a shoulder and gradually going up the back of my head . It seemed to flair up initially when I was going through a really stressful time at work and has continually gotten worse. I have cream and shampoo from the docs and I seem to have a cabinet full of creams and shampoos trying to get a handle on it. My latest flair up was yesterday I had my hair dyed and the back of my head was swollen and my neck and head were on fire. Still is a little now, it's dried and gone scaley and tight and sore.
I'm greying and like having my hair dyed but I've realised I can't go through that again, it's too painful, has anyone got any advice on any possible hair dyes that can be used with this.
Also has anyone got any advice for what I can rub into my scalp to help.
Thanks so much for any help.

Re: Seborrheic eczema and hair dyes

Perhaps you can do a patch test and know which ingredients you're sensitive to, and from there choose the appropriate hair dye? Take care!
