Hi, I am 57 and have suffered from eczema, allergies and asthma most of my life. I get really impatient with the skin problems as I feel self conscious when my arms look dry and patchy despite emollients etc. I tend to scratch a lot and sometimes I think my conditions are exacerbated when I am stressed which recently is often. I gave up work 18 months ago to be a full time carer for my husband who has emphysema and I find it really hard watching him struggle.

Yes I have found with my daughter and husband when they get stressed out there eczema flares up or makes it worse.

I know it's not much help but talking on here or reading posts sometime really helps.
