Eczema and Methotrexate

I'm new to this forum so apologies if this has already been covered. After very mild psorasis throughout my adulthood, last year at age 58 I suddenly developed discoid eczema, which is now all over my body. My doctor put me on predisolone which immediately helped, but steroids are only a quick fix. To cut a long story short, my dermatologist consultant suggested UV treatment (my skin burned so had to stop after two sessions).

I've now been taking Methotrexate for 10 weeks, and having regular blood tests. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience of how successful Methotrexate is. There is a mild improvement, but my legs and back (which were very bad last year), aren't really getting any better. I also have little patches of eczema on my hands and arms where they weren't before.

I moisturise with Epaderm etc, use the usual emolients, and am getting increasingly frustrated with it all. I won't see my consultant for another 4 weeks, so would just welcome any help/advice anyone may have. Thank you!
