Does Drinking Coffee Make My Eczema Worse?

I used to drink coffee all the time and now I don't drink it as often anymore because I thought coffee might be a factor to my cheeks being red (but at the same time I'm not entirely sure if coffee has anything to do with my skin condition).

Does drinking coffee make my eczema (specifically on the face) worse? Thanks.

Re: Does Drinking Coffee Make My Eczema Worse?

It's not really clear cut if caffeine will worsen eczema.. but if you feel anxious and worry about it, then maybe cutting down to the number of cups that you're comfortable with is best? Cos eczema can be triggered by stress/ anxiety, so your worry that it may worsen your eczema is by itself not good for you.. you can also check if there's a suitable allergy test for you to take on this... though given that tests are not definitive and coffee is something that you can moderate (without affecting your nutrition), maybe the costs of the allergy test may not be worth it.. not stressing over it is important though, take care!
