Glad you've found some help on our pages, it sounds like you are dealing with things sensibly trying a trial and error system, that will narrow down what makes the flare ups worse. Do keep us posted with your journey, are you keeping a diary that you can refer back to?
Good luck and kind regards

Hi,
I wouldn't necessarily say I do have flare-ups other than it being due to natural circumstances, e..g body warmth, exertion, brushing my teeth, etc. and this would go down within a few minutes once my body has calmed down.
I will go to the dermatologist this week as it has been 4.5 months and I could be wasting money by going and be told just to continue my routine but I think I'l go because I need to get an opinion if my skin has improved from another person and if there are any other possible alternatives in aiding my healing.
I haven't kept a diary because things have improved so slowly - I just try to compare my condition to each previous week.
Thanks

Thanks Mei.Marcie Mom wrote:Hope things keep getting better for you! Take care!
Well things are getting better yet at the same time I still have low confidence in that the skin/moisture barrier is still not healing up.
Yes, the shade of the redness/pinkness is a lot lighter now but I still have no idea if/when it'll get to the healing stage and I know moisturizers are the best thing to help but nothing seems to be aiding the healing process.
that's why I'll see the dermatologist this week and listen to his professional feedback and advice. Perhaps he'll look at the positives more than I do right now..
