Stubble gives me eczema

Hi, after years of perfect skin and a stubbly , not beardy, face, I suddenly started having bad eczema on the areas around my face where i shave. I now have to shave daily (yawn) and rub in Aveeno. If I forget to shave for a day I have a bad skin flare-up which I assume to be eczema. Any ideas how I can stop this, and the cause?

Re: Stubble gives me eczema

Hi ChrisDads,

Sorry to hear about your skin issues. Unfortunately we can not give out any specific medical advice but we do have the following information that may be of use to you about shaving and acne;
http://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/ta ... having.php and there are quite a few discussions on the eczema pages such as this one that discuss facial eczema; https://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/f ... 33&t=12860
Hope this helps but If you still are concerned it may be worth talking to your GP to see if he can help with the issues you are experiencing.

Regards,
