Some guidance to get me through Nummular Eczema

Hi, I was diagnosed with nummular eczema about 3 months before this post. It started out with a few red spots on my upper left arm & lower back. Within a week or two it spreads throughout the rest of my back as well as both of my upper arms & legs. My dermatologist prescribed floucinonide ointment which helped a bit. After 3 weeks of using it, most of them subsided & became discolored patches, although there were some spots that still persisted. Not long after, new spots emerges in both new & previously affected areas, and continue to do so up until now, despite daily skin moisturizing & ointment application.

I don't know what to do at this point, I'm a 25 year old guy with no history of major medical issues/conditions/allergies whatsoever. This is really stressing me out, not to mention the discomfort & itchiness it brings to the skin. Some days are alright while other are tough to get through. I've since cut back on using the ointment as some sources say that it could lead to adverse reaction to the skin if use excessively. I moisturize my body with Cetaphil after each shower. I also limit showering to once per day.

I just need some help getting through this. Please let me know what I should or shouldn't do to help relieving the symptom. Also, if anyone experienced nummular eczema in the past, how long did it take for you to get better ? and did your discolored patches of skin ever revert to its original tone.

I couldn't find many info on this condition out there so I'm hoping I could get some help, thanks everyone.
